As per his twitter account, Junior WR LaQuvionte Gonzalez has decided to transfer and finish his eligibility at a different school.
Gonzalez, a 5'10 speedster was a 4 star athlete from Cedar Hill High School had been used sparingly in 2014 after playing in all 13 games a true freshman. His sophomore campaign saw him only grab 5 catches for 77 yards over the course of 8 games.
Losing his experience will hurt, but A&M is still loaded at WR and should be able to easily make up for his productivity. Beyond his on field loss, Quiv transferring represents yet another hit to the much maligned class of 2013. A&M took 6 WRs that year (Quiv, Ricky Seals-Jones, Sebastian Larue, Kyrion Parker, Jeremy Tabuyo, and JaQuay Williams) and only two (RSJ and Tabuyo) are still currently on roster.
