2014: A GBH Year in Review - January

As the calendar turned from 2013 to 2014, we were partying. We had just witnessed one of the greatest comebacks in Texas A&M Football history. We were celebrating. Celebrating Johnny Manziel (literally) jumping over the Blue Devils. Celebrating a Toney Hurd Jr. pick six to give us the lead. Celebrating Nate Askew sealing the game with an interception. Celebrating 52-48 Chick-Fil-A Bowl win.

After two season in College Station, wide receiver Mike Evans officially declares for the 2014 NFL Draft.

Evans leaves Texas A&M holding or tied for the following school receiving records:

• Receiving Yardage Game - 287 yards (vs. Auburn, 2013)
• Single Game Touchdowns - 4 (vs. Auburn, 2013)
• Season Receiving Yards - 1,394 (2013)
• Season Touchdowns - 12 (2013)
• Season Receptions (Freshman) - 82 (2012)

In a letter posted on TexAgs.com, Johnny Manziel announces he is declaring for the 2014 NFL Draft.
Along with the 2012 Heisman trophy, Manziel leaves College Station with the following school records:

• Freshman Rushing Yards - 1,410 (2012)
• Season Touchdowns - 21 (2012)
• Best Average/Carry, Career - 6.3 (2012-2013)
• Total Offense, Season - 5,116 yards (2012)
• Total Offense, Career - 9,989 yards (2012-2013)
• Total Offense, Single Game - 576 yards (vs. Louisiana Tech, 2012)
• Passing Yards, Season - 4,114 (2013)
• Season Touchdown Passes - 37 (2013)
• Season Completion Pct. - .699 (2013)
• Career Completion Pct. - .689 (2012-2013)
