Texas A&M will unveil an alternate uniform that they'll most likely wear to open the season against Arizona State on Saturday, Sept. 5. Adidas and A&M have been dropping hints about the uniform via Twitter.

So we assume it will probably be black, and it seems a diamond theme will be somehow involved. We can also safely assume this will be on Adidas' new Primeknit uniform template, utilizing the glossy numbers they have used for other recent uniform unveils, including UCLA, Miami, Nebraska and Arizona State.

Also of note: Arizona State will reportedly also wear an alternate uniform for the season opener at NRG Stadium in Houston.
