What: UIL 6A Division I State Championship game (Allen vs. Cy Ranch)
When: 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20
Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX
Watch: Fox Sports Southwest (in Texas)
Murray, the son of former A&M quarterback Kevin Murray, will be aiming not just for another state championship, but to finish his high school career with a record of 42-0. Combine that with his more than 14,000 total yards and 181 touchdowns, and he has put together one of the most impressive careers in Texas high school history. This season he was was named National Player of the Year by both Gatorade and the Associated Press.
In addition to Murray, there are a couple other Texas A&M targets to watch in this game. The more high profile of the two is Texas A&M commit Gregory Little, a five-star offensive tackle who many rate as the country's best offensive lineman in the 2016 class. The second is 2016 cornerback Jaylon Jones, a four-star recruit who is among the top 50 players in Texas. While Texas A&M has not yet offered Jones a scholarship, he is a high-level recruit at a position of need for the Aggies.
Enjoy watching some Aggie commits in the final Texas high school game of 2014, and try not to think about the fact that this is the first sign of the coming football offseason.
