This was certainly a surprising bit of news to wake up to this morning, as Aggie Baseball picks up a huge transfer in the form of TCU's Boomer White.
Big transfer news: @TCU_Baseball Jr. OF Boomer White headed to @Aggie_Baseball. Interesting decision to head to #Aggies. Must sit out 2015.

White was #TCU’s leading hitter much of last season and served as the #Frogs’ offensive spark plug. Apparently has a younger brother at A&M.

Thank you TCU, it's been a great ride. I'm excited what God has in store for me and my family in years to come. pic.twitter.com/CZ0oV7otWl

White finished the season with the second highest average on TCU's roster, and he led the team in RBI. His offensive stat line from 2014 reads - .315/.390/.367, 14 2B, 2 HR, 49 RBI, 25 K, 20 BB, 12 SB. White was a sophomore for the Frogs, and he will have to sit out a year upon arriving at A&M.
It goes without saying that, even though White won't be able to play this coming spring, this is a big move for A&M. White will almost certainly be one of your starting outfielders to begin the 2016 season, and it's not hard to get excited about White in left and Nick Banks in right.
