OH, BEAUTIFUL FOR PITCHER'S MOUNDS AND EASTON METAL BATS. Nick Banks and Ryan Hendrix were named as part of the 29 player USA Baseball Collegiate National Team. The boys headed down to Cary, NC to begin training with the team and this week it will be announced who will make the final 24-man roster. Yesterday, the team played their first tryout game against the Holly Spring Salamanders of the Coastal Plain League winning 3-1. Banks, who was on the team last year, hit a RBI double in the first that lead to the team getting their first run. Hendrix also got the opportunity to close out the game in the ninth and got a save for the team. Today they head up against the Peninsula Pilots today at 5 PM.

PRETTY SURE ALL AGGIES ARE WOMEN OF THE YEAR. But special consideration goes to All-American track and field team star, Olivia Ekpone and the Maroon Militia's sweetheart, Shea Groom as they were two of 480 female student athletes nominated by their schools for the 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year Award. Congrats to Ekpone and Groom!

GOOD PEOPLE DO GOOD THINGS. Remember back when the men's basketball team played Auburn? The Aggie basketball team heard news of Auburn player Antoine Mason's father passing away that day and put on signs of great respect and support for Mason and his family. Because of this the team and support staff all received the SEC Sportsman award along with Aleighsa Welch from South Carolina. Very proud of the team again for their actions.

Have a great Father's Day! (Especially to my dad. Hi Dad!)
