SAW EM OFF, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE.
DOUBLE HEADER BASEBALL BLOG WAFFLE SPECTACULAR. After a weather delay yesterday your Fightin' Texas Aggie Baseball has scheduled to beat the hell out of the Razorbacks twice today. Read up on the series here written by this weekend's hero jzimmermann11 who is currently setting up today's #GBHmeetup with Waffle House waffles and Texas beers. Should be an entertaining event, so stop by if you're by Reed today.
'BTHO LSU!' are usually my waking words, but there's good reason today. The Aggie Softball team hiked over to Baton Rouge in an aeroplane ('cause we're fancy like that) for their series that starts today and ends Monday. All three games are scheduled to start at 6 PM. First game is on SEC Network+ with the remaining two on the SEC Network proper.
WAIT, THERE'S AN SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GOING ON IN COLLEGE STATION RIGHT NOW? Was wondering why I could hear mamas with southern drawls shouting at their babies to win all over West Campus; it is the SEC Men's Tennis Championship this weekend and the Aggies are heading into the semifinals. Yesterday, the team had a blowout defeating LSU 4-0 and will continue today with Mississippi State. The women's tennis team sadly missed the opportunity to continue with a 3-4 loss against LSU after a 7 match winning streak. Men's championship starts at noon on SEC Network+.
SEC GOLF, PAAAAWWWL. The #13 Women's Golf team is currently co-leading the SEC Women's Golf Championship in Hoover with a 293 (+5) score along with Tennessee and Vandy. Meanwhile in Georgia at the Men's Championship the Aggies are at 11th place 286 (+6). Both events resume today at 10 AM. Follow @AggieMensGolf and @AggieWomensGolf for updates.
IT DON'T MEAN A THING IF YOU AIN'T GOT THAT RING. Yesterday saw a thunderstorm of a situation when Ring Day was cancelled, leaving many Aggies ring-less. Seeing how in this day and age Ring Day is far more important to current students than their actual graduation, this was a big blow for many students and families who came up for the event. BUT GOOD NEWS! Ring Day has continued with a first come, first served system which will probably lead to anarchy or something more akin to ring pick up of days past. Congratulations to any Ags getting their ring this weekend and so sorry if you had to wait until today.
