WORK DONE BOWL CHAMPS 2014

Commemorate the Aggies win at the 2014 Liberty Bowl with this official Adidas t-shirt for $21.99.

Okay, there is some football news. You can read this then skip everything else to get to the poll and then put your complaints about the poll in the comments. There are lots of recruits on campus today which is muy exciting. Big names like Mack, Murray and Lodge (saywha?). Recruiting is looking hot again and should lead up to some great outcomes for signing day. If you see these kids on campus, say howdy to them, but in a cool way...well try your best at that.

Bouncyball in Baton Rouge. SEC Basketball fever is catching, or maybe you got something from your kids this week. Either or, there's some Aggie basketball on today with the Ags venturing into the wilds of Lousiana to play LSU. Ball tips off at 11 AM on ESPN2; Coach Kennedy gator wrestling contest at 3 pm depending on the outcome of the game.

Good future outlook in Reed. Women's basketball had a few nods of recognition when two signees Anriel Howard and Danni Williams were named nominees for the 2015 McDonald's All-American game. Williams is a 5 star recruit and two-time N.M. Gatorade Player of the Year which shows that the Aggies are bringing in some hot players to continue the legacy of great players and teams this program has produced.

Hey guys! Sports we're awesome at! Yesterday and today is the A&M Invitational Track meet and the reason why there's so many charter buses with university logos on them from ULM and ULL in College Station. (Confirmation on whether the A&M track team gets a maroon wrapped private jet due to superhuman running and jumping abilities is still needed). Track cleaned up yesterday in the men's distance medley taking up the top three spots. Even soccer heart-throb and dual athlete, Annie Kunz did pretty well in the shot put, 60 hurdles and high jump portions of the heptathlon. Today's event will be on the SEC Network online here at 2 pm.

Wait, there was more sports stuff yesterday? It's like there's enough events to hold you over until football starts again. Swimming! It's an awesome sport where no one notices you're sweating like a pig. The Aggie Women's S&D team finished off the Arena Pro Swim Series in Austin with a first place finish in the 800m free relay and their secondary team finishing third in the same event. The Men's team held home pool advantage against SMU in the dual meet yesterday, winning 10 of 13 events.

This almost happened against the Aggie Club Hockey team last night (2-4 San Juan). Thank the lord it didn't, but you can watch the Lake Erie Monsters goalie, Reto Berra become the 11th goaltender to score a goal in the NHL. It's like a large man touchdown but better because it's rarer, so you just enjoy.
