Johnny Manziel. They grow up so fast!--Actually, this has been a painful year of the NFL as the Cleveland Browns apparently just have found their minds this week and are letting the ugly duckling of sideline Johnny free as he turns into a beautiful swan in the wilds of game play. Johnny, like the mystical panda, does not perform the same way in captivity than he does in his natural habitat. He's even back in the news being criticized for his extra-curricular activities, it's beautiful. Hopefully, we see a bit of that thrill we got used to wearing on our hearts (but in a good way) at noon today on Fox.
Kyler Murray. The future looks so bright. This kid is hot and I'm getting excited about having him get Kyle Field back to the intimidating venue it was before, (but with chicken fried hot dogs still, can't get rid of those.) Yesterday, he helped make 18 point deficit into a 18 point win against Skyline HS. It's rough not trying to put this kid on a pedestal, but when he gets here I expect something fantastical to happen. If you're missing that part of you that only Texas High School football can fill, you can watch Allen High School and Cy-Ranch High School in the State Final at 8:00 pm in Jerry World, or watch it on Fox Sports Southwest.
Holiday Hoops are ring-ting-tingling. The Ladies are blazin' through this season. With a dominant victory over UH (94-55), the women's team brings their record to 11-0, barreling their way to the SEC Big 12 Challenge next Sunday to take on t.u. Saw 'em off.
The beat down in Reed continues. The Gentlemen kept the tempo up with a victory 81-63 victory over Youngstown State. Danuel House and Jalen Jones lead in points with a less than perfect performance from the team. Read up on gigem08's reaction to the game here.
