We're playing in a big kids tournament

Y'all, the Battle for Atlantis is legit. You probably can't tell based on the ridiculous blue "Look, we're playing underwater!" ambiance lighting, but it has quickly risen up the preseason tournament ranks. And while we don't know who we're playing yet, this field is loaded:

Battle for Atlantis field: Texas A&M, Texas, Michigan, Syracuse, UCONN, Gonzaga, Washington... and Charlotte.

Slice the draw however you'd like (and I think we all know an A&M/Texas first round tilt is coming), there's really no way to avoid a couple of stout tests in the Caribbean.

Big time games with a ton of rest

We'll get rewarded for our insane front-loading in November, as three separate power five games (@ASU; KSU; Baylor) will land on consecutive Saturdays with no mid-week game. The opportunity here is massive - if we can take care of business, we could fly into the conference slate with a ton of confidence and a shiny top 25 ranking. The Ags wrap up the non-conference slate against Cal Poly, and get a break in the SEC schedule to tackle Iowa St in the Big XII / SEC Challenge.
