Peyton Allen leaving the Aggie Basketball program

The almost second year guard is reportedly leaving the Aggie Basketball program.

According to multiple reports on Twitter, Peyton Allen will be transferring from Texas A&M effective immediately.

After a freshman year that saw Peyton Allen in the starting lineup for a decent amount of the season, the young shooter will be another attrition stat for the Billy Kennedy basketball program. Allen provided a nice shooting threat for the Aggies while he was on the court, but being forced into action so early was asking a little too much of the streaky shooter. The influx of talent to the program with the new recruiting class was certainly going to continue to limit minutes for the young guard. Allen finished his A&M basketball career with 4.5 points per game on 32% shooting from behind the arc.
