The Bryan-College Station Eagle reports that Speedy Noil is not a person of interest in an active aggravated robbery investigation. Rumors began circulating on July 24th when Aggie beat writer Brent Zwerneman for the Houston Chronicle tweeted this press release about a robbery at Reveille Ranch. Aggie message boards, most notably GigEm247.com, ran with the rumor and fans speculated that Speedy Noil was involved.
Yahoo! Sports radio personality and Orangebloods.com message board owner Geoff Ketchum was the first and only national media personality to implicate Speedy:
