Mike Evans was one of the most prolific SEC wide receivers during his two years on the Texas A&M campus. Tonight ESPN will give us a glimpse into a part of his life he hasn't shared before.
From the ESPN release:
In a revealing E:60 profile, Mike Evans and his family for the first time share an in-depth account of the night in October 2002 that changed the course of their lives. Evans’s father was stabbed and shot repeatedly by a close relative. Evans tells reporter Lisa Salters how he coped with losing the man who was his childhood hero. He describes his emotional and gut-wrenching journey of love, anger, football and ultimately forgiveness for the man who committed the crime. This unforgettable story, which also features a prison interview with the murderer, is part of an E:60 NFL draft special set to air on Tuesday April 26th at 10pm ET on ESPN.
Tune in tonight to watch.
