Media Days are in the books, which means hoopla season is in full swing. This morning secsports.com announced their pre-season All-SEC teams:
Sophomores Myles Garrett at defensive end and Speedy Noil as a return specialist are the only two Ags to crack the one-deep. The second team boasts a pair of offensive linemen in Germain Ifedi and Mike Matthews, along with punter Drew Kaser. Wide receiver Josh Reynolds is on the third team after setting a new receiving TD record for Texas A&M last year. Speedy also made the third team as an "all purpose" player, averaging over 100 AP yards per game as a true freshman last year.
Garrett was the only defender on any of the first three teams. Here's hoping that the end-of-season teams will feature more.
