Texas A&M faced off against Syracuse in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament final today but came up short. The Ags were led by Jalen Jones with 23 points. They took the lead into halftime, but missed shots and turnovers down the stretch combined with Syracuse's red-hot three-point shooting were to much to overcome.
Even though the ending was a disappointment, there's still a good deal of excitement surrounding this team. Here's what Twitter is saying.
@doug_keegan I agree that it's a missed opportunity, but we already made a national statement yesterday.

Other than the last five minutes of the Atlantis tournament, this has been the best Aggie Basketball I've watched since I was a student.

This is a young team, and they made a statement this week. Aggie basketball is a force to be reckoned with going forward.

Young team looks young. Not a bad thing to say for the first time this season considering it's a tournament championship game.
