Overall, the defense played really well. Sumlin was pleased with the level of effort this year as opposed to last year. He looks forward to reviewing the video to hone in on what exactly needs the most work. Mistakes are amplified against good teams like Alabama and three turnovers that are converted directly into points is virtually impossible to overcome. Special Teams was above average to excellent.
