It was expected by pretty much everyone that Texas A&M’s McKinnley Jackson would declare for the 2024 NFL Draft after four years in Aggieland. On Friday, he made it official.

Jackson was a four-star/national top 100 recruit out of high school, choosing the Aggies over Alabama as a member of the 2020 class. While he battled multiple injuries during his four years in Aggieland, he appeared in 40 games, including 24 starts. He’ll finish his A&M career with 91 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks.

While McKinnley is not projected to be selected in the first round, there’s a good chance he could be a day two pick (Rounds 2/3) with a good performance in the draft process.

Gig ‘em and good luck, McKinnley!
