Texas A&M saw another entry into the transfer portal on Tuesday. Well, actually two, as it was announced that LT Overton as well as his brother Micah Overton both intend to enter the portal.

LT was the more high profile player of the two, rated as a five-star recruit despite reclassifying from the 2023 class to 2022 and graduating high school a year early. In his two years in Aggieland, he appeared in 20 games, including four starts, totaling 48 tackles and one sack. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

Micah, LT’s older brother, committed to the Aggies in the spring of 2022 as well, but did so as a transfer from Liberty University. He saw the field in only one game as an Aggie, making a tackle in the win over Louisiana Monroe in September. Micah has one year of eligibility remaining, and as a graduate transfer, will be eligible immediately.

This makes a total of seven Aggies in the transfer portal, with the Overtons joining DT Walter Nolen, QB Max Johnson, WR Ramond Cottrell. S Jardin Gilbert and O-Linemen Remington Strickland and Jordan Moko.
