What other junk foods should sponsor a bowl game with an edible mascot?

I have a journalism degree

The Pop Tarts Bowl took the college football social media world by storm, due in large part to it’s mascot, Strawberry, who after a slew of in-game antics, hopped into a giant toaster and became an EDIBLE mascot for the winning team to enjoy.

Is it a bit dark? Maybe. Is it awesome nonetheless? Absolutely! With that in mind, we wondered what other kinds of junk food would make a great bowl game sponsor with an edible mascot to be consumed after the game?

Takis Bowl

They may not be my cup of tea, but Takis are all the rage with the youths, and college football is always looking for ways to engage a younger demographic.

Cadbury Cream Egg Bowl

Equal parts delicious and gross, just like bowl season.

Nutter Butter Bowl

Probably one of the easier edible mascots to make, plus that name is just fun to say.

Haribo Gummy Bear Bowl

A life-sized gummy bear is something we all need to experience at least once in our lives.

Hostess Twinkie Bowl

Biggest upside is that due to the exceedingly long shelf life of Twinkies, the giant edible ones can simply be mass-produced years in advance. Efficiency.

Twix Bowl

Lots of educdational opportunities to showcase different behaviors of the mascot and whether they utilize Left Twix (logic) or Right Twix (creativity). Then watch the players try to ignore that they’re eating what we just established as the mascot’s brain.

Hot Pocket Bowl

It’s basically a savory Pop Tart, after all.

Wendy’s Baconator Bowl

This would instantly become a destination bowl for the postgame feast alone.
