Texas A&M unveils new basketball court

An updated look for Aggie hoops

Texas A&M women’s basketball is going for their 8th straight win tonight at Reed Arena against Mississippi Valley State. And they’ll do so on a brand new basket ball court.

The most noticeable difference is the darker wood stain inside the three-point arc, but there also several smaller changes. The maroon looks to be a deeper color (the previous one always looked a bit too red), and the wood stain overall appears a bit more saturated in color. The SEC logo in the paint has changed (it went front a maroon logo with no background color to a white logo with a maroon background), the fonts of the social handle/website in the top corners has changed, and “WELCOME TO AGGIELAND” text has been added along the lower sideline.

For reference, here is the previous design.
