We’ve known for a while that Texas A&M would renew its football rivalry with the Texas Longhorns when they joined the SEC in 2024. What we didn’t know was exactly when. But according to ESPN, the game will indeed return to to rivalry weekend, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024.
Granted, this game serving as the regular season finale may not be a permanent staple. Ross Bjork discussed it earlier this year, but simply put, the game may end up on another weekend once a permanent schedule rotation is finalized. But at least for one year, we’ll all get to enjoy the Aggies and Longhorns while scarfing down the last of the Thanksgiving leftovers.
