After a more than 24-hour weather delay, No. 2 seed Texas A&M finally begin SEC Baseball Tournament play against the No. 7 seed Florida Gators. But once the game began, it ended up being unexpectedly short, as four home runs powered the Aggies to a 10-0 run rule victory in only seven innings. Perhaps just as importantly, pitcher Micah Dallas threw a complete game, preserving the A&M bullpen for subsequent games in the coming days.

A&M moves on to play Alabama on Friday evening (supposedly) with a berth in the tournament semifinals hanging in the balance. The Crimson Tide entered the tournament as the No. 11 seed, but have pulled off upsets over No. 6 seed Georgia and No. 3 see Arkansas.
