Hard to complain about the first two timeslots, because when you play two Group of Five teams to start the year, you live with the TV/kickoff time consequences. But that time slot for the Miami Hurricanes game? Chef’s kiss. A&M will likely be a top 10 team, and with The U opening their season with Bethune-Cookman and Southern Miss, this will almost certainly be a matchup of two undefeated teams. There’s no better setting for that matchup than at night (8 p.m. so like actual night) under the lights at Kyle Field in front of a fully lubricated (and fully shaded) 12th Man.
