Texas A&M’s transfer portal additions continued in a big way on Friday, as former Wichita State guard and American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year Dexter Dennis announced his commitment to the Aggies.

In 26 games last season, Dennis totaled 24 blocks and 23 steals while guarding multiple positions. He promises to be an instant impact player on the Aggies and has only one year of eligibility remaining. This looks to be a major addition to a squad that will look to make it’s first NCAA Tournament in the Buzz Williams era after narrowly missing out in 2022.
This is A&M’s fourth transfer portal addition in the past month, joining Michigan State PF Julius Marble, Mississippi State SF Andersson Garcia and Arkansas PG KK Robinson.
