In the world of recruiting, a punter doesn’t generally move the needle, but any football fan also knows the pain of not having a good one. Well Texas A&M seemed to secure their punting future on Monday with the commitment from Southlake Carroll’s Tyler White.
After a great visit with Coach Fisher and @CoachERussell I have received a full football scholarship offer to Texas A&M!! With that being said, I’m proud to announce that I am committing to continue my academic, football, and pursue my baseball career at Texas A&M!!! Gig’em pic.twitter.com/wW5XidLPu6

I don’t pretend to have any working knowledge of punting recruits, but he seems to be pretty good. He is a 2023 All American Bowl member, and at 6’5”, 200 pounds, will reportedly also look to play baseball for the Aggies.
It’s still insanely early in the 2023 recruiting cycle, and White becomes the fourth commit for the Aggies, joining top 100 DL Anthony James, DL Johnny Bowens and OT Colton Thomasson.
