To nobody’s surprise

Texas A&M fans know what a terror Myles Garrett can be at the defensive end position. The former Aggie pass rusher and No. 1 overall pick proved that and then some on Saturday, totaling a personal and Cleveland Browns franchise record 4.5 sacks of Justin Fields against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. You can watch the video here.

After battling injury his rookie season, Garrett has had 10 sacks or more in each of the past three seasons for the Browns, and with 5.5 only three games in, he is certainly on pace to do so for the fourth straight year. Garrett currently leads the NFL in sacks this season, and his 41 sacks since 2018 are third-most in the league, behind only Pittsburgh’s TJ Watt (45.5) and the LA Ram’s Aaron Donald (48.5). On a completely unrelated note, Philadelphia Eagle and former Tennessee Volunteer Derek Barnett has only 14.5 sacks in the same span.
