The SEC released the 2022 conference football schedule on Tuesday evening, which means that Texas A&M now has a full 12-game schedule on the books. In addition to the SEC slate (which once again includes Florida coming to Kyle Field), the Aggies will also host four non-conference games: Sam Houston State, Appalachian State, Miami, and UMass.

In a bit of a scheduling oddity, Florida will make their third trip to College Station, despite the fact that Georgia has yet to make the trip. This is because Florida came in 2012 in what was very much a makeshift schedule (the current rotation started in 2014), and the Gators played here again in 2020 in what amounts to a one-off during the 10-game COVID schedule.
Even though there are no non-conference road trips available, the Aggies home slate is much more interesting with current FCS Champ Sam Houston State, perennial giant slayer App State, and The U all coming to the Hate Barn in September.
