Y’all, this is a big one. Buzz Williams secured the services of the 52nd-ranked player in the class of 2020, and one who was talented enough to originally draw the eye of the Duke Blue Devils.
GIG’EM!! Let’s go Aggie Nation!!! pic.twitter.com/mcMhoIMsV6— Henry Coleman III (@hencoleman3) April 28, 2021
Coleman never found his footing at the famously talent-laden Duke program, rarely playing in more than a handful of non-garbage-time minutes. However, I still see this as an extraordinary opportunity to grab a game-changer solely in need of a change of scenery.
I absolutely love the pickup of Henry Coleman III for Buzz Williams and Texas A&M. Gritty, skilled, and has a super high ceiling. Fits the mend of an Aggie system and will thrive right away. Played in several games at Duke this season.— Jake (@jakeweingarten) April 28, 2021
The obvious comparison here is the outgoing Emanuel Miller, who led the Aggies in points and rebounds last season. Coleman’s ability to fill those shoes will go a loooong way towards determining our success in the 2021-2022 campaign.
