POST GAME THOUGHTS: YOUR FIGHTIN TEXAS AGGIES BEAT ALABAMA 41-38

WOW. JUST WOW.

NCAA Football: Alabama at Texas A&M Thomas Shea-USA TODAY Sports

Coming into this game I was about as down on this team as I possibly could be. The past two games were rough, and Alabama looked like an unbeatable behemoth coming off of their big win over Ole Miss. The weight of however many losses to Alabama in a row left me pretty damn despondent.

WELL IM A COMPLETE AND UTTER FOOL BECAUSE LOOK WHAT WE JUST DID. WE JUST BEAT ALABAMA AT HOME IN FRONT OF A FULL CROWD AND ALL THE DAMN CROOTS. WHAT A DAMN NIGHT.

I’m not gonna spend too much time talking about this because I’m in desperate need to get back to talking shit on twitter but let’s chat.

ZACH MFING CALZADA

Where to even begin?! After two rough outings Zach came out today and decisively made throws, took hits, and ran the offense to perfection. At one point in time he went down with a banged up knee, went into the med tent, came out on the next drive and then MFING RAN FOR A FIRST DOWN.

The kid is legendary. 21/31 for 285 with 3 TDs, 1 INT, with 12 rushing yards. We ALL owe Zach and apology and all of our thanks because this dude put this team on his back and made clutch throws to close this game out. What a damn game. I have absolutely no words to fully describe his performance tonight. Fightin Texas Zachy got the damn job done.

JIMBO

Mannnnnn. Lot of pressure on him coming into this game and the game plan was just stunningly good despite going almost completely silent in the second half. Zach was successful because Jimbo schemed WRs open. We had 7 different receivers catch balls tonight. I cant even begin to show them all love but all of our stars came up big today.

OL

We found a starting 5. Green, Trainor, Foster, Robinson, Fatheree.

THE STARS

This game doesn't happen without Ainias, Jalen, Spiller, Achane, and Wydermyer putting us on their back. We’ve needed them to step up and they did in a big way.

THE DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS

Just wow. You cant win a game against Alabama without all three phases. We got 4 sacks, 1 INT, 1 fumble, and 1 kick off return for a TD. Elko schemed his ass off and had Bryce Young’s head spinning all night long as to where the pressure was coming from. What a damn night.

OVERALL

This is about as much of an unbelievable win as I can remember. I have no idea how to wrap my head around this.

We did it guys. We did it. What a damn night.

We ain't done yet. Time to go Beat the HELL outta mizzou.
