Texas A&M may not have played a game on Saturday, but sometimes, all you need to happen to move up in the polls is to simply not lose. With No. 6 Michigan, No. 9 Iowa, No. 10 Ole Miss and No. 12 Kentucky all losing yesterday, the Aggies took advantage of their misfortune moving from the No. 14 spot in the Associated Press Top 25 and USA Today Coaches Poll to No. 13 and No. 12, respectively.

Sometimes doing nothing does pay off.

The rise in rankings sets up a juicy matchup as the Auburn Tigers, who rose in the rankings themselves to No. 12/14 following a takedown of then-No. 10 Ole Miss, come to Kyle Field. The winner will almost certainly rise into the national top 10, while also keeping their SEC West title hopes very much alive.
