As fall camp approaches, Texas A&M has lost another backup player to the dreaded transfer portal. Earlier this week it was offensive lineman Tank Jenkins, and now unsuprisingly, it’s his cousin, quarterback James Foster.
Forever an Aggie wish nothing but the best for the team! With that being said I’ll be entering my name in the transfer portal. And for my teammates I love you guys forever my brother keepers #Faithinthelordstiming pic.twitter.com/KzER0n7xro

Both Jenkins and Foster were four-star recruits in the 2017 class, but both saw limited time in their years in Aggieland and looked to be buried on the Aggie depth chart heading into the 2020 season. While you can never have too many quarterbacks, A&M is still doing well at the position, with senior Kellen Mond, redshirt freshman Zach Calzada and true freshman Haynes King.
We wish Tank and James well as they look to pursue their collegiate football careers elsewhere.
