With the A&M football team still riding high and pushing for a Playoff berth, it’s easy to forget other sports have started up. But started they have, and the Texas A&M women’s basketball team is off to a great start. They’re 4-0 on the young season, including a win over No. 19 DePaul on Nov. 28, and a huge road win over the No. 25 Texas Longhorns on Sunday.
Even if you don’t normally follow women’s hoops, a victory over the Horns is always worth celebrating.

They will finish out their nonconference slate with Little Rock, ACU, Sam Houston, Rice and Northwestern State before kicking off their SEC schedule against Tennessee on Thursday, Dec. 31.
