In the years since the tragic 1999 Bonfire collapse, Student Bonfire has diligently worked to keep the tradition alive, even in the absence of a university-sponsored, on campus event. In 2020 they faced perhaps their greatest challenge in two decades, with COVID-19 restrictions both on the cut and stack phases, as well as the burning of Bonfire itself.
The decision was made earlier this month not to allow crowds at Bonfire this year, but it will burn nonetheless. If you missed it, you can watch the replay on Texags.com.
In case you didn't catch it live, you can still watch Bonfire burn ahead of the Aggies' showdown with LSU this weekend: https://t.co/NGJyDRXKYR
