The big news is about the postponement of another Texas A&M football game, but we got even more bad news on Monday, with redshirt freshman receiver Kam Brown entering the transfer portal.
Have learned that Texas A&M wide receiver Kam Brown has entered the transfer portal. Has started four games this year.

Brown redshirted in 2019, and so far in 2020 had recorded five catches for 55 yards, though he had not recorded a catch in the past three games. He was seemingly squeezed out of the rotation with the return of Hezekiah Smith as well as Ainias Smith’s increased reps as a slot receiver. But even so, it’s never good to lose talented skill position players, as Brown was a four-star recruit and early enrollee from the the 2019 recruiting class.
The Aggies’ receiving corps has thinned significantly in recent months due to the opt out of Jhamon Ausbon, season-ending injuries to Cam Buckley and Caleb Chapman, and now the impending transfer of Brown. But they still seem to be in good hands with Hezekiah Jones, Chase Lane and Ainias Smith headlining most three-receiver sets, and talented players like Dylan Wright, Jalen Preston and five-star freshman Demond Demas waiting in the wings.
