The good news? A&M will get a national network audience when they host the Auburn Tigers on Saturday, Sept. 21. The bad news? A 2:30 p.m. kickoff comes with it.

While getting a game on CBS is never something to complain about, players and fans alike will be gearing up to tolerate the heat at Kyle Field. This is the first time since 2016 that A&M has hosted a 2:30 p.m. CBS game (when they hosted two: UCLA and Tennessee).
Sept. 21 is one of two Saturdays in which CBS will air a double-header. A&M/Auburn will e the first game of the day, followed up by Notre Dame at Georgia at 7 p.m. The Tigers made a late comeback to upset the Oregon Ducks 27-21 in week one, but followed that up with an uninspiring 24-6 win over Tulane in week two. They host Kent State on Sept. 14 before traveling to Kyle Field as both teams open up SEC play.
A&M, meanwhile, will tune up by hosting Lamar at 6 p.m. this Saturday.
