If you have to have an 11 a.m. kickoff, make sure you do it in a dome. The Aggies learned their kickoff time and TV network for their game against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday, Sept. 28, and we’ll get some early Saturday action on the worldwide leader.

This is the second year in a row that this game has aired at 11 a.m. The best part of this news is that it means A&M avoids the notorious problems posed by sunlight for 2:30 or 3 p.m. games in Arlington.

A&M has won every game in this series since joining the SEC, seven in row to be exact. These teams are always familiar with one another, but there will be an added layer this year. Former A&M quarterback Nick Starkel taking snaps for the Razobacks, and is joined in the backfield by former A&M running back Rakeem Boyd. On the sidelines, head coach (and Aggie) Chad Morris hired former A&M defensive coordinator John Chavis to fill the same role in Fayetteville.
If you’re one of the folks who wishes this rivalry returned to being played on college campuses, don’t get your hopes up. The contract to play the Southwest Classic in Arlington runs through 2024.
