MORNING, ALL. Today is your depressurization chamber. Ease into the full-blown madness with a nice little sampler platter. Here’s where all the action is.

Villanova at Colgate | 11:00 a.m. | CBSSN

A feisty FCS matchup to start your day. If you didn’t get a chance to see Colgate’s defense last year, tune in if you’re into that kind of thing.

Samford vs. Youngstown State (Montgomery) | 2:00 p.m. | ESPN

Bo Pelini vs. Jimbo Fisher’s alma mater. What’s not to like?

Florida vs. Miami (Orlando) | 6:00 p.m. | ESPN/ACCN/SECN

Hooo boy. The first blueblood matchup of the year is a dandy. The epicenter of the Florida Man Universe. If these two programs can sort through their dysfunction and schedule a game in the shadow of Epcot Center, there is no Earthly reason that any major in-state rivals who reside in different conferences can’t arrange an early-season matchup.

Arizona at Hawaii | 9:30 p.m. | CBSSN

Free trip to the Big Island in August? No wonder Kevin Sumlin took the Wildcat vacancy. Look for this one to get absolutely silly. This could be the beginning of the Khalil Tate Show in 2019 with Zona’s playcaller fully healthy heading into his senior year. PAC-12 After Dark on some pretty potent gummies.
