Honestly, it’s the perfect way to ring in a new era. From the official release:
Once in Costa Rica, the Aggies open play on Monday, Aug. 5 against the Panama All Stars and then will square off against the Costa Rica All Stars on Tuesday, Aug. 6. A rematch against Panama is slated for Wednesday, Aug. 7. All three games are held at BN Arena in the sport city of Hatillo.
Off the court, the Aggies are partnering with Samaritan’s Feet, an organization that serves and inspires hope in children by providing shoes as the foundation to a spiritual and healthy life resulting in the advancement of education and economic opportunities, and will visit two elementary schools. On Aug. 6, Texas A&M joins Special Olympics of Costa Rica where they will hold a basketball clinic. At the events, the team will distribute shoes, socks and t-shirts to the children.
Game clips and community service updates will be available via Twitter and Instagram (@aggiembk) and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/aggiembk.
