No such thing as too many defensive linemen

The Texas A&M Aggies’ June recruiting roll continued today, as Jimbo Fisher and the Ags secured a commitment from three-star defensive tackle Dallas Walker, from Smyrna, Tennessee.

The 6’4”, 315-pound walker chose A&M over Auburn and Kentucky, and also held scholarship offers from Arkansas, Georgia, Mizzou, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee and Virginia Tech, among others. He is rated as the 449th-best player in the country, the 41st-best defensive tackle and the 16th-best player in Tennessee, according to 247 Sports.

Of A&M’s 13 commits in this class, seven are on either the offensive or defensive line. Walker’s commitment also moves A&M’s 2020 class into the top 10 in the 247 team rankings.
