Hopefully all of you had a great Father’s Day that you spent with family doing something much more fulfilling than paying attention to college football recruiting. But if you didn’t, you got some good news, as the Texas A&M Aggies secured pledges from two 2020 recruits: 3-star Georgia RB Deondre Jackson and 3-star New Jersey DT Isaiah Raikes.

Jackson’s rankings won’t wow you (58th-ranked running back and 789th overall player nationally), but his offer list speaks for it self, with scholarships on the table from Alabama, Ohio State, Auburn, Florida and Tennessee, among others.
Raikes, meanwhile, is the 39th-best defensive tackle and the 443rd-best overall player in the 2020 class. He had offers from Michigan State, Baylor, West Virginia, Virginia Tech and others, though A&M’s primary competition for his verbal was Penn State. Raikes is the second player from New Jersey in the Aggie’s current recruiting class, joining four-star defensive end Fadill Diggs. They are also two of four out-of-state commits in the class.
A&M’s 2020 recruiting class now stands at 11 commits, and is ranked 13th in the country by 247 Sports.
