Emanuel Miller Commits to Texas A&M

The Canadian three-star clocks in as a Top 150 prospect and the 22nd ranked power forward overall

Buzz Williams is at it again.

Aggie Hoops #GotBetter (the Buzz #YESSIR tag… only slightly corny) last night when Emanuel Miller, a 6’6” 200 lb 3-star power forward by way of Canada, committed to the Texas A&M Men’s Basketball program.

Miller projects as an athletic wing who should be in the mix for rotation minutes from day one. He’s touted as a versatile defender, a solid rebounder, and a good athlete who can finish around the rim… but the shooting and ball-handling may need a little improvement. At a quick glance I see him as someone that can provide energy and defensive support, but I don’t anticipate him acting as a centerpiece on the offensive end in year one.

Miller was originally a Buzz Williams recruit at Virginia Tech, and he becomes the fifth member of the 2019 class. Cashius McNeilly, Yavuz Gultekin, Quenton Jackson, and Andre Gordon round out an extraordinary flurry of activity in the early stages of the offseason.

Additional News and Notes

John Walker III entered his name into the transfer portal, which now leaves us with five original BK players (Mitchell, Nebo, Flagg, Starks, and Chandler) and the five new Buzz commits previously listed.

Someone should get these guys a pile of name tags for fall camp.
