Texas A&M adds two DB commits to 2020 recruiting class

Yesterday’s recruiting news...TODAY!

@MajorBurns6

National Signing Day is almost upon us, and that means it’s time to completely gloss over the 2019 class and move on to the 2020 guys who won’t be official for more than 10 months. Yeah, the early signing period makes things weird.

Nonetheless, Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M Aggies held a major recruiting event this weekend that concluded with a Super Bowl party on Sunday night, and the Ags walked away with two new commits in three-star Madison Prep (Baton Rouge) safety Major Burns and four-star Cibolo Steele Jaylon Jones.

Jones represents a significant head-to-head recruiting win over the Longhorns, and and Burns is a guy the Ags stole out of LSU’s backyard.

Burns and Jones mark the first two defensive commits in A&M’s 2020 class. The class is currently ranked 7th in the country.
