Results of Note
The Tigers are 12-2 in conference and are in the thick of their first SEC title race in quite some time. They knocked off Tennessee at home in their most recent outing, and enthusiasm for the program is at a fever pitch.
They beat us 72-57 at Reed Arena on January 30th, and it was never close.
Things to Watch
Remember that victory over Tennessee I mentioned? They did that without Tremont Waters, their all-everything Point Guard. He’s still listed as questionable, but Saturday’s effort certainly proves that they can fare without him.
Overall Thoughts
Let’s put this recent improvement to the test, friends. Our recent 4-1 stretch has largely come against the bottom half of the SEC, and has certainly not included anything remotely close to the test we face tonight.
But hey, we’ve got nothing to lose.
