These Texas A&M Texas Bowl uniforms are very Texas

But like Dallas, Texas, because they’re fake.

Texas A&M has an illustrious bowl game tradition. No, I’m not talking about wins and losses, we’re talking, over-the-top, sponor-centric bowl game uniforms. This grand tradition dates all the way back to 2013. Don’t believe me? You’re right to because these aren’t real. But the time I spent making them is real so in a Morpheus from the Matrix sense, they are real. So enjoy these uniforms that A&M is totally wearing in the Academy Sports + Outdoors Texas Bowl against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

The Helmet

Come and take it (as long as “it” is not another running back). The famous star and canon emblem is splashed across a glossy maroon helmet with a white facemask (a combo that is a glorious piece of Texas history in and of itself).

The Jersey

A subtle approach was taken here, with a sublimated Texas flag pattern across the entire jersey and a state outline patch at the collar. More obvious elements are a nod to our beloved sponsor of this event, Academy Sports + Outdoors, with their logo incorporated into the A&M wordmark and an Aggie-centric take on their company slogan written within the letters.

The Pants

I don’t know if you’re aware of this, but Texas has a stereotypically western culture. Consider that skid leaned into with blue jean denim pants and a Texas Bowl belt buckle.

The Cleats

They’re boots. Get it?

And there you have it, the 100% totally not at all fake uniforms A&M will wear in the Texas Bowl. If you liked these, take a look at some of the also definitely real uniforms from previous bowl games.
