The Texas A&M soccer team earned their 25th consecutive NCAA Tournament berth on Monday after finishing the regular season 13-4-3, third in the SEC and ranked 16th in the nation. But the real news isn’t that the Aggies are in the tournament, but rather, who they will host, as the Texas Longhorns will travel to College Station and take on the Aggies at 6:30 p.m. this Friday, Nov. 15, at Ellis Field. Texas is 11-7-1 on the season and 6-3-0 in Big 12 play.

This is the first time the Aggies and Longhorns have met on the pitch since A&M left for the SEC in 2012, but A&M holds a 20-5—2 record all time. The Aggies are one of four teams to make it to every NCAA Tournament since 1995, including North Carolina, Virginia and Penn State.
All students will receive free admission to Friday’s match with a valid student ID, and public tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday on www.12thman.com/tickets or by calling 888-992-4443. The winner move on to the second round to face either Southern Cal or Cal State Fullerton on Friday, Nov. 22, at a site to be determined.
