The College Football Hall of Fame has announced that they will be inducting Vince Young and some other guys this year. Among the others is Jacob Green, the former All-American for Texas A&M.

Green’s 1979 season remains one of the most ridiculous in history. As a defensive end, he amassed a stupefying 134 tackles and 20 sacks. He’s still second all-time in career sacks in the Aggie record books some 40 years after his playing days.

Following that, he was a top-ten draft pick and played 13 seasons in the NFL. Well done, Mr. Green. Here’s a 2015 interview with NFL highlights (including a 73-yard interception return).
