The college baseball season is right around the corner (15 days, to be exact), and on Wednesday the SEC released their TV schedule for the upcoming season. The Texas A&M Aggies will have eight games aired nationally either on SEC Network or on ESPNU, with only three of those games at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
2019 Texas A&M baseball TV schedule
Date | Time (CT) | Game | Network |
---|---|---|---|
Date | Time (CT) | Game | Network |
Tuesday, March 19 | 6:30 p.m. | Rice vs. Texas A&M | SEC Network |
Saturday, April 6 | 7 p.m. | Texas A&M vs. LSU | ESPNU |
Sunday, April 7 | 2 p.m. | Texas A&M vs. LSU | SEC Network |
Saturday, April 20 | 3 p.m. | Texas A&M vs. South Carolina | SEC Network |
Thusday, April 25 | 6 p.m. | Texas A&M vs. Ole Miss | SEC Network |
Thursday, May 2 | 6 p.m. | Mississippi State vs. Texas A&M | SEC Network |
Saturday, May 4 | 2 p.m. | Mississippi State vs. Texas A&M | SEC Network |
Sunday, May 12 | 2 p.m. | Texas A&M vs. Alabama | SEC Network |
The Aggies enter the season unranked in the major polls, and the TV scheduling reflects that. This is the first time since the SEC Network was launched in 2014 that the Aggies have had fewer than 11 games televised. And they will play a full month of the season before their first televised game versus Rice on March 19.
The good news is that the majority of Aggie home games not televised will be available on SEC Network + with Will Johnson and Mark Johnson on the call. SEC Network + is available through the WatchESPN app and www.SECNetwork.com.
The season begins on Friday, Feb. 15, with a three-game series against Fordham.
