The Texas A&M Aggies begin their 2019 baseball season the day after Valentine’s Day, which is fitting because we are in love with the new Adidas uniform set that the team tweeted out today.
Flip the switch, flip the script.

A classic fit, ready for our 2019 script. #FamilyF1rst #GigEm pic.twitter.com/WFW6xcoFLZ
With a v-neck pullover jersey and script fonts, the uniform has a very vintage vibe to it. It includes white, maroon and gray jerseys with “Texas A&M” written in script, as well as a second white jersey with “Aggies” written in script. All jerseys include a “41” patch to honor recently deceased President George Bush. Also, can we talk about this block T hat? Amazing!

This is a much more unified look than the Aggies have had in recent years. While the uniforms have by no means been bad, they’ve been all over the map in terms of style. You had straight lettering, vertically arched lettering, radially arched lettering, v-necks, button downs, pinstripes, placket stripes, you name it. While none of these looked bad in a vacuum, there was not very cohesive look to the uniform set. Take a look at the two uniform sets in the slideshow below.
And any uniform critique (well, one from me anyway) isn’t complete without looking at the shoes. While I would have preferred a simpler look, these are fine.
