ROLL DAMN PERSONNEL GROUPINGS. Look, we know what we said about AL dot com comments sections, but this is a cool read about how up-tempo teams tend to stick with one or two groupings, while pro-style offenses (like A&M) show quite a few more, making it more difficult for the Alabama DEFCON 11 Defense to adjust. There is just so damn much respect all around this week that it brings a tear to the eye.

SPEAKING OF RESPECT, WHICH WE MOST CERTAINLY ARE, IT BEING BAMA WEEK, Jimbo Fisher spills all about how he learned to approach head coaching from Nick Saban while the two worked closely together to lead LSU to a natty. EXTREMELY respectful stuff from Jimbo here. Well done.

JEAN LeFOOTBAL. Looks like ole Mike Sherman’s gonna roll the dice on Mr. Manziel again tomorrow night. Tune in for some hot Canadian action in between if you get tired of watching Penn State steamroll Illinois on Friday evening.

COOL CUSTOMER. Nice little writeup here from Brent Z on Kellen Mond’s laid-back approach to quarterbacking. In case you were curious, #11 does actually celebrate after big plays.

When he scores, he does a little celebration like ‘eating,’” Ausbon said while mimicking putting a fork to his mouth from a plate.

Ausbon shrugged, realizing emulating responsible food consumption isn’t exactly a celebration dance.

If emulating responsible food consumption is wrong, I don’t wanna be right. Keep up the moderation celebrations, QB1.

Poll

First the Rice Krispies Treats, and now the eating celebrations. Will Kellen Mond be the first SEC QB to be a Food Network Star?
