Morning. Today’s a mellow vibe, so enjoy this from The Platters. We’ll tie this all up at the end, promise.
HELLUVA PARTY. So Saturday night got raucous. Huge game, huge atmosphere. And as usual @TAMUPolice had some of the finest coverage of the evening’s events. Please retain some measure of awareness after these events, folks. There are countless thousands of others trying to leave peacefully too. Don’t drive like an asshole over curbs and sidewalks. Remember: only regents are allowed drive tanks.
PRESS COVERAGE. Jimbo’s weekly presser was yesterday, and he’s still got a bitter taste in his mouth. This means he actually expected to win against Clemson, not simply compete. Positive sign here. He’s also in the unique position of having just coached against ULM nine months ago when weather forced Florida State’s game against the Warhawks to be rescheduled to December 2017. The ‘Noles won 42-10. EXTRA PREPARED for this trap game!
EIGHT IS GREAT. Kellen Mond’s monster performance against top competition has landed him on the Davey O’Brien Great 8 list this week. That’s some pretty stout company if you watched any of those other QBs play Saturday. The player of the week will be announced Thursday.
Have a fun Tuesday, everyone. Just gonna blow some smoke before I leave.
